o A Day In The Life Typically Includes The day begins by pulling empty totes and setting up RS sort workstation.
Printing and matching paperwork and shipping labels for CS batches.
o Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scans barcodes in sort station and on the products (books).
Places products (books) into proper sort locations.
Checks products (books) to ensure shipments are of the highest quality.
Forwards completed containers to appropriate departments for preparation for shipping o Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
o Required Skills & Experience High school education or equivalent and up to three months experience.
High degree of accuracy and organization.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to managers and employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
o Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms and frequently walk and lift/move up to 10 lbs.
The employee is must occasionally talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
