ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The following statements describe the general nature of work being performed in this job.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management):
Audits processed items (label placement, jackets, stamps) for conformance to customer requirements.
Packs products.
Scans audit labels to record findings of audits.
Makes on-line adjustments to invoice for VAS charges.
Returns errors to processors for correction.
Reports non-compliance of policies and procedures to Lead Clerk and/or Supervisor.
Uses PC workstation and RF scanner to print labels for specific order types.
Separates labels by container and places label sets in the corresponding scanned containers.
Pushes completed containers to kit match stations when necessary.
Cuts and sorts card kits for specific order types.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS High school education and up to three months experience.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift/move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision requirements include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
