Production Worker- 1st Shift

Summary
The Production Worker effectively and efficiently prepares food products for drying, freezing, dry processing, re-boxing or storage, sifting, grinding and infusion. Additionally, fill trays with various company products and load trays into freeze dry racks. During all the different processing, the employee will be expected to work with different equipment in the plant as well as product variation from day to day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Primary responsibilities include:
Moves empty racks into processing area
Run products through processing equipment frozen or dry
Unloads fresh incoming product into trays and loads trays into racks
Moves full racks into storage area.
Aids in cleanup of the processing area and the necessary equipment
Load and unloading of the freeze dryers
Move product to and from Dry process storage area
Dry product sifting, grinding blending, measuring
Perform other duties as needed
Ability to stand / walk the entire shift
Must be able to do manual labor (Lift 50 lbs.)
Follow instructions and take direction from supervisors
Must be able to work together as a team
Must have a great attitude and the willingness to help others

Must have the ability to climb a ladder.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and there may be times where hearing aid is required depending on location what equipment is being used. There also may be occasions where the environment may become dusty and breathing protection may be required.
Education Qualifications
H. S. Diploma or GED.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
